about

This was a collection of songs Andrew recorded between 2009 and 2011. They were originally all instrumental. In 2011, Andrew and I were talking about putting vocals on these and making an EP from them. The original versions were, again, very quiet. I had my neighbor and friend, Justin McKinney (The Zenith Passage, Soreption (Live), Ex-The Faceless), smooth the tracks out and remaster them. Oddly enough, this is how we got started talking about TZP!

Fun Facts About The Songs:

Orchestrating The Dead-Originally written for a full length we scrapped called ICON.

Mass Extermination-Was going for an Entrails Of You vibe with the lyrics. Andrew and I were clearly listening to a lot of Suffocation-Blood Oath at the time haha.

Intrinsic Beasts-One of my favorite songs we did. Another song about how much we are fucking the planet up.

Static Screams (Day Xxiii)-Andrew wanted the lyrical content to be very gloomy and isolated, which he displayed perfectly. It was written in a hotel in Raleigh, NC, with the notion that the narrator is the last human on earth. This song is kind of chaotic and at the time, was very hard to do vocally.

Anatomy (Of A Suffering Man) (Rough Mix)-For some weird reason, this song never got remastered, and was actually lost for a while. Andrew sent it to me and I upped the volume on it a little to make it listenable.

about

Zombie Corpse Autopsy Tehachapi, California

ZCA was formed around 2005 by Greg Hampton (The Zenith Passage, Muldrotha) and one of his best friends, Andrew Patience. We wanted to do something simple and fun while kind of making fun of Myspace bands. We eventually tried to be a little more serious around 2007. The vocals were all done in one take, with all instrumental mistakes left in. We hope you enjoy this ride to the past! ... more
